International Tree Society (ITS)
In reference to the international video conferences held by companies these days we propose the founding of an ‚International Tree Society‘ (ITS).
This is to remind us that the acknowledgement of the sacredness of trees is not any peculiar residue of some „primitive pagan cultures“, but a necessitiy for all of us to revive – as it has been at the core of all civilisations worldwide. To this core of humanhood we have to find back if we don´t want to continue destroying everything that is not us – be it another nation or another species and, as everyone does so, eventually ourselves.
